Ulttra returns with a 3 track tape entitled “Mike & Phil”. All three songs are produced by TheOnly and the concept is that Ulttra is the player and TheOnly is the coach, sort of like, Mike and Phil. Island! Is a bumping party jam with creative and catchy flows from Ulttra. The song breaks down into this distorted changes in pitch before “Dash!” starts. This beat features some nice wavy synths that remind me of a west coast hip hop sound. One of my personal favorites because of the bouncy snares but, last but not least, there’s a much slowed down jam entitled, “Clean!”. This song has a mellow vibe but still has the same Ulttra sound with it. I think that’s the main part of this whole tape. They experiment together but each song has a classic Ulttra rap song sound. check this man out immediately. We’ve covered him before and I’m sure he’s gonna pop. Follow his journey.
