Get Money Ghost drops new project “Something to Believe In”

Battling with negativity and other tribulations over the last month, rising superstar Get Money Ghost turned to the mic to air out his grievances, and this led to his newest project in over 2 years titled “Something to Believe In”

“Something to Believe In” serves as a form of self-motivation for Get Money Ghost- a way to inspire himself to keep pushing past all the obstacles and doubt. “Something to Believe In” sees Get Money Ghost assert himself as that guy no matter what he faces. The project is graced by Get Money Ghost’s signature braggadocios flow over heavy trap beats- something fans of GMG have grown accustomed too. Despite his signature flow, the artistic and creative growth is evident especially in multiple tracks on the tape such as “Turned Me Cold” where, as the name implies, GMG talks about how the negativity and bad energy received from friends and loved ones has turned him cold.

Get Money Ghost also created this project with the hope of it inspiring someone who is going through something similar.

Anthony Aliseo: A Stunning and Diverse Debut

Anthony Aliseo is an artist we have been waiting for to drop. This talented drummer turned super producer handcrafted a glittery and diverse album filled to the brim with idea after idea. “A Ladybug” is a 12 song alternative record that explores many different sounds and genres. From the poppy and glamorous “Gold For Air” to the distorted and gritty tracks like “Hostage”, this record offers a variety of sections that almost anyone can find a place in. The record itself is filled with great vocalists and instrumentalists but, Anthony’s lead has introduced an undeniable classic to the musical world. The best part is, he did it all with his phone. Once you press play it would be easy to forget the feat that Anthony has overcome with this record as every track is lush and jam packed with interesting production choices. Nonetheless, each and every second of this record was miraculously crafted and brought together on a touchscreen. Some of our favorites would have to be “Big Witted” and “Missile”. Both tracks having a heavy emphasis on distorted bass while they slowly progress into grandiose productions where every sound has a pocket. This record is more than worth it’s 45 minute run time because the ideas are consistent and flawless throughout. There’s at least on song on here for any music fan and we beg you to seek yours out. We look forward to the next record from Anthony and will be enjoying this one quite a bit until then.

swazy*: The Return of His Classic Off the Wall Sound.

“Bullet Therapy” is another dive into the mind of one of our most beloved artists in the scene, swazy. Running around 18 minutes with seven tracks, swazy* returns with another sparatic and wild tape that is sure to suck you in. Even with it’s shorter runtime, “Bullet Therapy” doesn’t fail to be jam packed with a variety of performances from; somber builds inside of “Sprains” and “Close To The Sun” to hard hitting and distorted tracks such as “For My Next Trick I Need a Gun”. “They Wasn’t Ready” with it’s jungle-esq drums and tempo all the way to “On Purpose” with it’s near screaming vocal performance. Once again we meet swazy* at a crossroads of his mind where he’s almost depressively reflecting on moments in his life. Even bringing up the idea of his PTSD flaring up from reoccurring tragedy, loss, and sadness. swazy* is beyond a talent in the music scene and I hope he knows he’s loved and many can relate to a lot of his themes and ideas. That being said, I can’t think of an artist that can translate his feelings as well as swazy. Even songs like “Get Over It”, really translate the confidence swazy has in his own music while still stumbling through his vices and life expectations like, being weary of marriage. All and all, swazy* has not only done it again but, he has probably created his most mature and vulnerable piece of work yet. We couldn’t recommend this tape enough. Take 20 minutes out of your day and fall in love with a whole new artist.

Aquatic Cat Dolphin & MAITREYA: A Collaboration Dipped in Honey and Roses.

Aquatic Cat Dolphin & MAITREYA is a collaboration we’ve been eager to talk about for a little while now and their song “Roses” was finally released. The track itself is a beautiful melodic journey about believing in yourself against all odds. With hard hitting drums and angelic melodies circling the headphones, it’s hard not to get sucked into the groove. MAITREYA delivers great vocal melodics throughout the whole track intertwining harmonies throughout the whole song to keep the catchy nature of the song stay true. With a great tone, MAITREYA keeps up an intoxicating sound going from start to finish. On the flip side, Aquatic Cat Dolphin delivers some real and catchy bars throughout the track. Reflecting on his wins and how far he’s come in his lifetime. Expert flows and perfectly etched writing fits perfectly between MAITREYA’s vocals and I couldn’t imagine this song without either of the two. Without a doubt, couldn’t recommend this track enough. “Roses” is a masterclass in writing music and you can listen to it right now!
