meadows: Bouncy Bass and a Spooky Tone.

We’re a little late to this one but, nonetheless, this new track from meadows is worth a mention. “halloween szn” is a fun and spooky mix that is sure to get you moving. From the bouncy synth bass to the off-putting and atmospheric soundscape, this track has the perfect blend of spooky and crispy. If I had to compare the sound to anything it would be The Weeknd’s dance music. It’s got that perfect bounce that’ll get anyone bobbing their head. Without a doubt something worth checking out. Even if we are a month late to the party.

barliebandsxxx: A Intoxicating Plugg Sound.

“NUMB KIGHT” is a dreamy pluggnb sound with leads sliding up and down over smooth thick chords. barlie comes into the beat with a sluggish and catchy flow almost mirroring the same energy of the dream like atmosphere the instrumental captures. Not only does the track have this dream like momentum to it but it’s also hard and catchy and could get almost anyone dancing. barlie shows a lot of potential inside of this sound and it begs for more exploration. We’re excited to see how far barlie can take the plugg sound while adding his unique, practically slumped, vocal runs. With this track only running a little over 2 minutes, you’ll be ready to run it back when it’s over. We can’t recommend this song enough.

Mikie Mayo: The Sound of Angst

The Librarian is back with some more cool tunes for you. This time we’ve got a brand new track that came out just a few days ago. ‘local disease’ by Mikie Mayo is one of those songs I hear and I know both the artist and track are destined to be hits. Before I get into the song too much, in my opinion good, palatable, ORIGINAL, and commercially available (something I could hear on the radio) music is not an easy thing to accomplish. Mikie did just that. Sometimes I hear a song where I think, ‘Wow this sounds so familiar but also not at all.’ THAT feeling is what I am always looking for when digging through music. ‘local disease’ is a great pop-punkesque song that will surely get you moving. I am honestly not even sure how to really hype this up properly. It's a very well put together song that sounds nice and clean. It flows perfectly and is just the right length. As I said this song will surely get you moving and you need to go check this out immediately. Until next time: keep an open mind and expand those libraries.

billy !: A Trip Into Energy and Impact.

Welcome back for another review, thank you for joining me. I’ve got the hyperpop hit tornado by billy ! with the hyperpop scene legend, Fraxiom. What is there to say really, if Fraxiom is on it you know it’s a hit. Does this track even need more endorsement? With that being said you’re met with the quintessential hyperpop sound that starts pretty immediately with a banging breakbeat before the high synth comes in and the vocals begin. The melody of this song will be sure to get stuck in your head for the rest of the day. A very classic Frax verse slapped right there in the second half rounds the song off in a very nice way. All in all if you are into the hyperpop scene this is a song you’ll want to add to your daily playlist.
