Phoenix-based artist, Rohith Shaker has just introduced himself to the music scene with the release of his debut single “Lake Misery”.
On this single, Rohith attempts to relish in the remaining pieces of life before it all comes to an end. The single was created during the peak of the COVID pandemic, hence the theme of “losing time” being strong. Lake Misery sees Rohith Shaker long for moments which have been slipping away from him. The song’s woeful feel and Rohith’s melancholic delivery contributes to the feeling of loss. Despite the main message of nostalgia and losing time, Lake Misery also dives into the complexities of a romantic relationship. Rohith delivers an otherworldly experience with the delivery and chorus, as well as the production which was handled by Mario Yniguez.
