Here we are again folks it’s me, The Librarian, and I’ve got another review for you. This time with door by swazy*. This song starts off with some beautiful guitar before going into a nice hyperpop (I’m sorry should I be saying digicore??) beat. Always a fan of nice guitar loops in the genre personally, very reminiscent of early glaive, specifically astrid. I love the vocal manipulation within this song. I think it was done very tastefully and not overdone/too extreme. swazy* is another one of those artists who is very good at capturing a vibe. Even if I don’t have a word for the feeling I get hearing this song, it puts my brain in a certain place. Always a good aspect to have in a song. Is it even art if it doesn’t evoke emotion? Philosophy aside I think door is a great experimental pop single. If you’ve got a spare minute and a half in your day you can’t go wrong giving this track a listen.
