uglyboy is someone that caught our attention a while ago. We were instantly sucked into his unique vocals and production. Growing from musical influences from all around him no matter how big or small, uglyboy has great success in blending his influences and creating a sound unique to himself. blending rap, pop, and electronic based genres to create a new world to get lost in. One of his more notable releases from this year was his tape “Honesty Is The Best Policy”. This tape, in our opinion is great place to introduce yourself to his sound. 8 tracks and 19 minutes of uglyboy at his best. More recently he’s released quite a bit of singles including his newest single, “loose lips sink ships (feat. Mikie Mayo). This track is nothing less of insanity. Starting off with a heart felt acoustic guitar, you would not expect the hard hitting change that comes in or the break beat production Mikie lays his vocal tracks over. Packing punch and emotion into a hard hitting track. uglyboy is dropping unique music and he’s not stopping anytime soon with his newest single “arrogant” scheduled to drop September 14th.
