Kiffie is a gentlemen that spends his free time composing electronic music as well as, classical. His influences range from acts like Depeche Mode and Beethoven. Kiffie started composing during the UK lockdown. His process is simple on the outside cus it’s the brain that does the most work during the whole thing. Kiffie starts with just a digital piano and preset rhythms. Then, he will imagine the piece in his head and get to work. If everything goes smoothly up to this point and Kiffie likes the sound then, he will switch the rhythm over to his TR08 drum machine. Kiffie says that, he prefers the hardware over anything else and we assume this is because the hands on movement really makes the music more real. Kiffie says that, he can imagine vocal melodies in his head but that the words rarely find their way to the light so, most of Kiffie’s compositions don’t develop into finished songs. During March Kiffie has taken his talents to stage shows and spread his sound much quicker than the average. We think his process of creating at least one composition a day is the main thing to blame because this allows Kiffie to continue working on his craft and exchanging his sounds as well as; influence. Kiffie’s main hope with putting himself out there more is to work with more rappers and singers. Kiifie has a lot to offer to the creation process but, if Kiffie had the song writing help to bring his compositions to life then, he would be unstoppable. Kiffie’s sound is very analog and dry with the sounds doing the real living. Synths with timed waves and satisfying frequencies. Abnormal drums that waste no time slicing through the mix with punch. His sound is always evolving but Kiffie always caries a sense of sorrowful sounds as well as, up lifting resolutions.
