DonDeada is a performing and recording LoFi artist, as well as, a digital painter from Ohio. He was born and raised in Toledo where he had an early love for creating art. Some of his early influences were "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein, Edgar Alan Poe, and Uncle Iroh. DonDeada loves Lo-Fi hip-Hop and has a deep appreciation for the art style. His musical genre is classified as "lofi hip-hop alternative" because of it's deteriorated, raw, and soothing feeling.
DonDeada was writing poetry for most of his childhood, with a favoritism towards Haiku. DonDeada’s musical influences have been J Cole, Chance the Rapper, XXXTENTACION, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Panic! At the Disco, A$AP Rocky, Marvin Gaye, and most LoFi Instrumentals. His visual arts influencers have been Hayao Miyazaki and Eiichiro Oda. In 2017 DonDeada began to write music as a way to express his innermost emotions and concerns. It became his greatest outlet. In 2018 DonDeada began to perform in local venues for poetry readings and live performances. He worked alongside local acts and began to learn and grow his craft. DonDeada believes that every artist should truly consider why they appreciate their art and make sure to do it from a true place. Having a focus on that topic, and GOD, allowed Him to escape many deep depressions and grow into who he is today. In the coming year, DonDeada is working to build his collective VAV as well as record much more music. He also consistently loves to digital paint with a focus on mostly nature scenes. “CH3RRY” is a new track from DonDeada and Martellas Lee. This track has a great instrumental to open your windows to and an obscure vocal mix that really does a great job at setting the tone. Don and Martellas both do a wonderful job of keeping the song moving with beautiful melodies and catchy lyrics. Please feel free to connect with him on social media to stay in the loop!
