Big Parade is a nusician based out of Huston, Texas. Starting out as a duo, Big Parade released two albums until the two artists split ways late last year. Big Parade shows a lot of influence, pulling from, singer-songwriters as well as, Alternative music. He finds most of his inspirations in artists like Bon Iver and Coldplay. This is very noticeable as, his songs tend to be much slower than most with simplistic melodies that hit just right.. His vocals can be easily to compared to what we have heard from Coldplay the last few years.
The song that really caught our attention was entitled Parachutes .This song is captivating as the electric guitar strums with heavy effects such as, Phaser or Flanger. The chords strummed travel in such a way that a bitter sweet feeling is given off as guitar notes rush in, perfectly timed out and recorded. A truly easy listen on the ears as Big Parades vocals flood in. You can feel the emotion not only in the music but in his voice and that’s what captivates us. A lot of artists can write but, most will never understand putting the feeling behind it like, Big Parade does. Look for this man tomorrow. He’s a man of the future in our opinion.
