Dylan Hall is a talented lyricist that has only been working at it for a little over a year. His talents are undoubted and astonishing, to see how much of a grasp he has with writing and music, in such a short amount of time. He has always grown with a passion for poetry and writing so, when it came time to make music, Dylan was more than ready. Coming from North Miami Beach in South Florida, there’s a lot of competition but. Dylan stands out with off the wall & catchy flows. Dylan hears music differently than most and you can see this, in the way he writes his melodies and rhymes. Dylan, on his own, has accumulated over 300 thousand streams. This is a very impressive feat for someone who’s only been working for a year. These streams also are not including all the plays “FOOM!” & “Deadly Alliance” have earned. These are two collectives that Dylan is proud and happy to say he is apart of.
“PSA” is the song that really caught our attention. The instrumental, produced by MadManSmokee, has a heavy trap rap influence and rhyme scheme but, not textbook enough to sound like the other rappers on the scene right now. The bell melodies that run throughout the beat are abnormal and remind me of melodies you could have found on an old, Odd Future tape, or BROCKHAMPTON album. However, Dylan isn’t much like these groups as far as his lyrics go. He brings more of a “T’Up” or “good time” feeling as he parades about women around him and his future that is to come. Dylan is definitely one of the most talented people we have covered so show him some love and check out his new song “PSA” below.
