King Madi drops psychedelic new single “kayaKing”

Michigan artist, King Madi has dropped his much-awaited new single “kayaKing”. This also serves as his second release since the drop of his sensual single “ringpop”.

On the 4-minute track, Madi uses the kayaking activity to symbolize one being in charge of their destiny. Unlike other boating activities which involves a partner, kayaking is a sole activity and as Madi said “when the waters get rough, you gotta just keep going and paddle through it”. “kayaKing” is Madi’s ode to mental health and one believing in themselves. This single also serves as Madi’s reminder to himself to focus on his journey and not compare it to anyone else’s. The laidback delivery and calm production gives “kayaKing” an otherworldly type of feel.

King Madi has been nothing of versatile and this is another example of the Michigan native showing it off. Check out the new single here

PlusIV: drops new single “INeedUSometimes”

Detroit native and rising superstar PlusIV has dropped his first single of the year titled “INeedUSometimes”.

On this single, PlusIV talks about being dependent on drugs and friendships. The ambiguous nature of the track was inspired by Playboi Carti’s “LoveUIHateU”, in which Carti addresses both sides of doing drugs. PlusIV has been transparent on his struggle with narcotics occasionally and he uses this single so others who go through the same thing as him could not only relate, but also dance it off too. “INeedUSometimes” is PlusIV’s attempt on making a safe space for broken people to be free. PlusIV attempts this with an alternative sound which perfectly catches his vulnerability and makes it catchy at the same time. The dreary lyrics and dark yet cheerful undertone of the single makes this single a must listen. The single was also produced by Fantom.

PlusIV has been showing a different level of consistency and quality with their drops through the persona, Ivy Verde. PlusIV’s latest offering is no different. Check out his latest single here

Wrek: Drops New Bop “This Boy He So”.

New Jersey native and rising superstar, Wrek has just blessed fans with the release of his new single “This Boy He So”. This is also his first release since his late-2022 masterpiece “Over”.

On this single, Wrek talks about reminding yourself that you’re never stagnant in life and that it’s nothing but a feeling. He uses this single as a form of encouragement for those who are grinding everyday for a better life for themselves and still feel like they’ve made no progress. Wrek has been going through a huge artistic growth the last couple of years and this single was also a reminder to himself to keep going. Wrek went through lots of emotions when making this song and had to rewrite it multiple times to get his emotions across. A perfect delivery and top-tier production make this another masterpiece in Wrek’s discography. The music video for this single was also released on the 21st of this month.

Wrek has been consistent with his release of amazing singles and “This Boy He So” is not an exception. Check out his new single here

swazy*: Putting Nothing but His Best In.

swazy* is back with another insane track! This time linking up with sxth sns to make a hard hitting and catchy groove inside of “bustdown fever pt 2”. Admittedly, swazy* took a back seat on the production side of things only really working on the ending while, sxth sns went insane on the production creating a danceable, distorted, and infectious anthem, anyone can get into. swazy locks into a lot of different ideas and emotions on this track but, one of the main reoccurring ideas is that he is really that guy. He might be getting older and might not have all the musical opportunity in the world but, he is till gonna turn out some amazing and well put together products. Not only is this song just a down right banger but, it’s got a lot of motivational content for the fellow artists as well.
