He started by and continues to, write a lot of poetry, tv shoes, and anything that can have creativity written into it. Deenyo is a true artist with words and the language he uses. He is a huge advocate for a great turn up song but, Deenyo truly enjoys to put his soul into deep and introspective work. By taking experiences from his own life, Deenyo creates music special to him but, still relatable to the masses. He has been perfecting this sound and writing style to create his newest EP, “Reverse Archaeologist”, releasing late this summer. Deenyo takes most his influence from artists like Lupe Fiasco and Kanye West but, his biggest is, his brother who actually got him into writing raps at a very young age. He never created music with the intention of making it big. Deenyo creates from the heart and because he genuinely enjoys it. “Switch” is a new single from Deenyo and Shabab. This track starts off with a bang and pitched vocals going in. The best features abnormal bells and synths coexisting in a spooky tone. The verse are catch and hard hitting from both artists as they talk about growing up and living in hard situations as well as, women and violence. The tracks has a lot of variation to help the beat come together as one. You can hear parts being cut apart to help emphasize the punchlines of the vocals and it works very well. This track is a great tune to play if you’re looking for something new.
