KAM is a conscious rapper that has meaning behind his songs. Born in Georgia but, raised in Louisville, Kentucky; after his parents split. He was 12 at the time and this was very hard for KAM. This was around the time he started writing after one of his friends showed him rap music. He studied artists like Eminem and Kendrick Lamar, essentially, perfecting his raps everyday. He was made fun of at school for being a white rapper and didn’t even want to start recording until age 17. At first he was just using a mic from an Xbox headset to record. It wasn’t until he got kicked out that he invested in his dream and got better equipment. KAM writes about what he feels on the inside. KAM speaks the words most are afraid to say.

KAM’s newest track “Finer Things” is a great song to get you thinking. He talks about the hardships of life and even questioning if god is there to help you. KAM seems like he has a good, down to earth, look on life and wants to relate to the kids who don’t have much to relate with.
