Mitch The Wizard: “The Nostalgia Tapes” Is One Of The Best Works We’ve Heard.
Mitch the Wizard came out with a beautiful 3 song Tape entitled “The Nostalgia Tape”. This tape is the embodiment of Mitch as an artist. From his singing and harmonies to his fantastic rap style verses. This EP opens up with “Caress” produced by RRAREBEAR. This track has a beautiful acoustic guitar running away with two different tracks filling most the air. These two tracks coexist so well with one another that this track is a must play. Mitch sprinkles his harmonies making this song so replay-able it’s crazy. I listened to this song over and over again as Mitch cries out to his love interest asking if, they would take some time out for him. A great relatable song for almost any age. After gawking over the opener I moved on to “Trip”. Featuring JONILL and produced by Serge Crown, this track has a nice melodic bell to carry the song. The synths are layered perfectly for a nice bright sound. It almost sounds like we actually are tripping in the woods. This jam has a much more rap focus than the last but none the less, it still comes out to become just as quality as the last and a great listen for any Hip Hop fan. “Haunting Me” closes out this short tape and it just so happens to be my favorite. This track has great mixing on not only the instrumental but, the vocals that goes a long with it. The vocals are found panning back in forth in a great timing for the track itself. Mitch talks about leaving behind people and how his life has really begun to change even tho he doesn’t feel like he’s changed much. A nice guitar solo flies into the track to help it play out right before the final chorus. A beautiful piano lead on top of perfect drums create a high quality song that’s easy for anyone to cry to. Mitch is the feature of music and you can’t tell us otherwise. Check him out down below.
