WazOwsKi is an experimental producer we ran into. He’s a self taught musician on the guitar and he took this knowledge to participate in school shows and events. After one unpleasant show, he decided to, take a break. It was not until, A$AP Rocky’s “TESTING” came out that, WazOwsKi found himself and sound. This album lighted a fire inside of him. He started to create experimental jams with lots of samples from modern day pop culture. He created his upcoming project on his phone and it’s insane to hear the quality of these tracks after knowing that.

“THX SYD” is a great track from the upcoming EP “Ramona Flowers”. This track is a straight vibe. It features distorted vocal samples that are looped perfectly around a great drum beat. Drum beats are something Waz spends the time one. I can tell by how every track has a great vibe that doesn’t exactly stay the same for the whole song. These songs are progressive and move. This whole album is composed by psychedelic and experimental sampling to bring a new and fresh sound to your ears. This tape is full of great jams and drum lines. Waz is very good with not only rhythm but finding the perfect samples to roll into the next mix. He shows his expertise much in tracks like “TOKYO DR¡FT”. Finally his track “Blue Sun” shows off some great melodic guitar. The sounds this man is capable of are no joke. They are new and fresh and we see a lot of potential in him. We hope to watch him grow in the future. Especially, after learning, this tape was created on a phone. Be sure to follow him and wait for the release of this one on May 17th.
