Neem The Martian: Turning Inspirations Into Something Fresh.

Neem The Martian is an artist that was born through the culture. He started rapping around age 14 but, it wasn’t until 2017 when, Brockhampton, took to the scene; that he realized he would start working on music seriously with some kids he met in a fan group chat. Since then the group chat has disbanded but he says most are still some of his best friends to date. All of these online relationships helped Neem break away from his day to day life of being an outcast. He found people like him and his confidence to create grew even bigger. Neem got his name from Andre 3000 and his grandfather. His grandfather would always call him Neem and now to Neem it stands for “Never Ending Existence Of Madness” And Andre, considers himself on a higher level refer to as “a Martian” And Neem hopes to achieve that. Neem is a bisexual icon and he hopes to achieve a style that is unique and new to everyone.

Neem’s new song, entitled “Halo” is an aggressive sound with some villainous flows. You can hear inspirations from Tyler in here as guitar riffs start off slow and wild out before they loop again. The drums are weird but truly smack you in the face if the volume is good enough. The type of drums to just get you head banging and yelling at your mom. Aggressive and to my surprise. When I first went to go listen to Neem’s music I was expecting a much different sound but, to my pleasant surprise, Neem is a villain in his raps. We hope to see a lot more from him in the future.
