King Weapon is a very interesting artist. He started in a post hardcore band, a full time touring job with, Revelation Records. As for, the last 10 years, he has been in and out of experimental prog bands. He had been playing a lot with “Aux Era” and when, they broke up, King was still very motivated by the creative process they showed him. He was inspired to create for his own so, he took elements from old fantasy film scores and ambient artist. His process includes using loops and effects to bend the boundaries of what bass can do. Innovative and Creative; King Weapon is a man at work. He has even scored a series called “Whisper Naked Shadow” an independent Czech Series.

“Cloudsore” is one of King’s newest tracks. It feature a slow ambient build up until flooding in distant, bass melodies that are slow to resolution. As the ambiance changes tone the bass speeds up. This continues and creates the perfect ambient track to just lay down in the middle of the street to. The mix between the sounds is perfect for immersing you inside a new world and the quality is nothing to ignore. King Weapon knows just as much about this music world as and industry fool. “Solopsis” is a much similar sound but, taking on a more angelic feeling than the last. The melodies mixing together create beauty and progress into triumph. Check it out below.
